HYDERABAD: The newly appointed AICC incharge for Telangana, Meenakshi Natarajan, arrived in Hyderabad and was given a grand welcome by state Congress leaders at Kachiguda Railway Station.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, Protocol Chairman Harkara Venugopal, Congress leaders Rohin Reddy, and Rachamalla Siddeshwar were present at the railway station to receive her. Party workers and supporters also gathered to welcome Natarajan.
Later in the day, at 2 PM, she is scheduled to attend a crucial meeting at Gandhi Bhavan. The meeting will be presided over by TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud and will include several key Congress leaders.
The attendees of the meeting will include Political Affairs Committee (PAC) and Political Executive Committee (PEC) members, ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs, District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents, vice-presidents, general secretaries, chairpersons of affiliated organisations, corporation chairpersons, former candidates, official representatives, and senior leaders.
During the meeting, discussions will be held on state and national political developments, as well as party organisational matters. The session is expected to focus on strengthening the Congress structure in Telangana and strategising for future political challenges.
