Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader Meenakshi Natarajan held a closed-door meeting with party leaders in Warangal on Sunday amid growing internal differences. The meeting, which lasted nearly an hour, was called in response to recent tensions triggered by comments from Konda Murali.
Party sources said the meeting focused on resolving the friction caused by the Konda couple’s remarks and strategies to maintain unity ahead of upcoming organisational activities.
A separate meeting was also convened by leaders critical of the Konda family, signalling a widening rift within the local Congress unit.
