Hyderabad: The government will launch MeeSeva WhatsApp services today to give citizens faster and easier access to public services. IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu will attend the event as the chief guest at Hotel Tak Krishna in Banjara Hills at 11:30 am.

They explained that WhatsApp support will cover ration card issuance, registration slot booking, crop market prices and temple darshan details. Students can also check their attendance and other updates through the same platform.

MeeSeva WhatsApp services aim to reduce queues and save time

The rollout of MeeSeva WhatsApp services aims to cut long queues at MeeSeva centres and help citizens finish routine tasks more quickly. Officials said the tool will reduce unnecessary travel and allow people to complete their work from home.

They added that the WhatsApp menu will guide users step by step. The government plans to expand digital access further and bring more services under this platform as part of its push for stronger e-governance across Telangana.
