Hyderabad: The Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) conducted a district-level review and awareness meeting at the Ranga Reddy Collectorate conference hall on Friday. The session began at 11 a.m. under the supervision of Project Director G. Venkata Narayana.
MEPMA review meeting held in RR district
Town Mission Coordinators, Data Entry Operators, and Resource Persons from 18 municipalities in Ranga Reddy district attended the meeting. Additional Mission Director of MEPMA, Hyderabad, Murali Mohan, and State Officer Krishna Chaitanya participated as special guests.
During the review, officials discussed various MEPMA components. They reviewed the formation of new women’s self-help groups, loans for street vendors and women’s groups, as well as the gap between targets and achievements. The session also aimed to raise awareness about ongoing MEPMA activities.
Over 300 MEPMA staff attended
District Mission Coordinator Indira and Additional District Mission Coordinator Ashok also took part in the program. More than 300 MEPMA staff members from different municipalities across the district joined the review meeting.
