Congress leader Mettu Saikumar slams Bandi Sanjay, offers political training

HYDERABAD: Congress leader and Telangana Fisheries Chairman Mettu Saikumar launched a sharp attack on Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, criticising his repeated remarks against the Congress party. In a press conference held at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday, Saikumar advised Sanjay to focus on resolving BJP’s internal disputes rather than targeting Congress.

Saikumar alleged that even BJP’s own leaders, including its eight MLAs in Telangana, do not recognize Sanjay’s leadership. He sarcastically suggested that if Sanjay needed political training, Congress could provide it at Gandhi Bhavan. Mocking Sanjay further, Saikumar said that instead of attacking Congress, he should first prevent BJP MLAs from defecting.

Accusing the BJP of being filled with uninformed individuals, Saikumar remarked that Sanjay had much to learn about politics. He ended his criticism with a pointed question, asking whether Sanjay was acting as a responsible leader or merely as a BJP spokesperson.
