HYDERABAD, January 31: Prohibition and Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao conducted a surprise inspection at the Excise Academy in Bandlaguda. Officials briefed him on the academy’s operations, and he toured various sections to assess their functioning.
During his visit, the minister interacted with 129 women trainee constables undergoing training at the academy. He inquired about their lessons, physical training, and overall learning experience. He also asked them about the quality of food and whether there were any water-related issues at the facility.
Addressing the trainees, Jupally commended them for their hard work in securing the job amidst tough competition. He encouraged them to make the most of the government’s opportunities and aim for higher positions in their careers.
He emphasised the importance of dedicated service and urged them to contribute to society by strictly enforcing regulations against drugs, illicit liquor, and other banned substances. He instructed them to maintain strict vigilance on the sale and transport of narcotics and alcohol to protect the youth from their harmful effects.
Accompanying the minister were Excise Department Principal Secretary Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi and Excise Commissioner Chevuru Harikiran.
