HYDERABAD: Telangana Minister for Roads and Buildings, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, stated that discussions were held with the Union Minister regarding the Regional Ring Road (RRR) project. He assured that the southern alignment of the RRR will be finalized and submitted soon.
Komatireddy emphasized that once the RRR is completed, it will significantly reshape Hyderabad’s infrastructure and connectivity. Addressing concerns about land acquisition, he reassured that landowners will be compensated as per market rates and urged cooperation for the smooth execution of the project.
Taking a dig at the opposition, Komatireddy stated, “Unlike some, we do not have the habit of selling roads for profit.” He also warned against obstructing development by inciting attacks on government officials involved in the project.
The minister appealed to all stakeholders to extend their support to ensure timely completion of the RRR, which is expected to enhance economic and logistical growth in the region.
