HYDERABAD: Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations Minister, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, has directed officials to expedite road development projects in Yedulapuram Municipality to ensure their completion before the onset of the monsoon season.
Minister Srinivas Reddy conducted an inspection tour of the Yedulapuram Municipal area on Sunday, initiating several key road development projects. These projects include the construction of a BT road from Gurralapadu to Kotha Narayanapuram, with an allocated budget of ₹2.85 crore; a BT road from Venkatagiri SC, BC Colony to Khammam Gudimalla ZDP road, costing ₹2.04 crore; and a BT road from Gudimalla to Thorrivagu Donka Rice Mill, with a budget of ₹1.95 crore.
During the event, Minister Srinivas Reddy emphasized the importance of completing these road construction works promptly to benefit the public before the monsoon. He instructed officials to submit proposals for additional road construction projects based on public needs. Following the inspections, the Minister visited the Tirupatamma Talli Temple in Gudimalla for darshan.
The program was attended by public representatives, officials from the Roads and Buildings Department, including SE Hemalatha, RDO Narasimha Rao, Panchayati Raj EE Venkat Reddy, Municipal Commissioner A. Srinivas Reddy, Khammam Rural Mandal Tahsildar Ramprasad, various other officials, and Congress leaders.
