Minister Ponnam Prabhakar Inaugurates ₹4.90 Crore Development Works in Amberpet

HYDERABAD: Telangana Minister and Hyderabad in-charge Ponnam Prabhakar visited the Amberpet constituency, where he laid the foundation for development projects worth ₹4.90 crore in Bagh Amberpet, Nallakunta, and Barkatpura.

Former MP V. Hanumantha Rao, Amberpet Congress in-charge Rohin Reddy, and several officials participated in the event.

Minister Prabhakar stated that under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership, Telangana has launched welfare schemes such as free bus travel for women, 200 units of free electricity, ₹500 LPG cylinders, and farm loan waivers. He assured that all pending constituency issues would be addressed swiftly and directed officials to ensure timely completion of the development works.

Criticizing the BRS’s past governance, he claimed that financial mismanagement had hindered Telangana’s progress, but the Congress government was now implementing both previous and new programs to aid citizens. He also accused the BJP-led central government of neglecting Telangana, stating that it had failed to allocate sufficient funds and had not provided aid during floods.

He called upon Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy to prioritize Telangana’s welfare instead of obstructing its progress. He asserted that the Congress government would fight for the state’s rightful share of funds and ensure that Telangana received fair treatment under the federal system.
