HYDERABAD: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar Goud has announced that the distribution of fine rice and new ration cards will commence from Ugadi in Nalgonda district. The minister conducted a review meeting on Sunday at the Husnabad IOC office with officials, including additional collectors from Siddipet, Karimnagar, and Hanumakonda districts. During the meeting, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar instructed officials to take measures to prevent drinking water shortages during the summer season. He emphasized that the selection of beneficiaries for Indiramma housing should be transparent, giving priority to the poor. The minister also directed officials to ensure that the ongoing paddy procurement process proceeds without any issues at the procurement centers.
