The incident follows a similar occurrence on Monday evening, when tremors were recorded in several regions of Telangana. A 3.8 magnitude earthquake was observed in the undivided Karimnagar district. Areas including Gangadhara and Choppadandi reported structural vibrations that caused items to fall from shelves in homes, shops, and supermarkets, leading to panic among the public.
Residents in parts of Nirmal district, including Khanapur, Kadam, Jannaram, and Luxettipet, also experienced mild tremors, adding to concerns about recent seismic activity across the region.
So far, there have been no reports of injuries or major damage from either the Andhra Pradesh or Telangana events. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely.
