HYDERABAD: Julia Evelyn Morley, Chairperson and CEO of Miss World Limited, arrived in Hyderabad on Friday morning to oversee preparations for the upcoming Miss World 2025 pageant. She was welcomed at Shamshabad Airport with traditional honours by state officials.
The 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad from May 7 to 31, featuring contestants from over 120 countries. Morley is set to review the event arrangements starting tomorrow.
Speaking to the media upon her arrival, Morley expressed that partnering with the Telangana government would help showcase the state’s remarkable heritage to a global audience. She emphasised that the Miss World pageant is not just about beauty but also about empowering women and making a lasting impact.
The event aims to highlight Telangana’s rich culture and traditions, positioning the state as a significant destination on the global stage. The government anticipates that hosting the pageant will attract international attention and promote tourism in the region.
