During a session, he nostalgically compared current proceedings to past assemblies, citing leaders like former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Chandrababu Naidu, and YS Rajasekhara Reddy, noting that earlier sessions attracted keen public interest. He quipped that recent sessions seem more about “clothes being torn and knives being drawn.”
In a lighthearted exchange with Chennur MLA G Vivek, Malla Reddy greeted him as “Namaste, Minister Garu,” to which Vivek responded, “Thanks, Mallanna.” Malla Reddy then remarked on the dominance of certain families during Congress rule, prompting Vivek to jest, “Under BRS rule, it was KCR and Malla Reddy who ruled the roost.” Concluding the conversation, Malla Reddy joked about the BRS party losing power, saying, “We lost power, but it’s no big deal.”
