HYDERABAD, February 12: MLC K. Kavitha has strongly criticised the Congress government in Telangana, accusing it of failing to fulfil its promises and neglecting key governance issues. Speaking at an event, the BRS leader alleged that the ruling party has been unable to implement the assurances made to the people during the elections.
Kavitha stated that several welfare schemes initiated by the previous BRS government have either been stalled or diluted under the new administration. She further claimed that the Congress government has not taken adequate measures to address the concerns of farmers, women, and marginalised communities.
The MLC also challenged the state leadership to provide a transparent update on the implementation of its electoral promises. She warned that the public would not tolerate inefficiency and mismanagement for long.
As political tensions escalate in the state, opposition leaders continue to hold the Congress accountable for governance shortcomings.
