HYDERABAD: BJP pariamentarian Eatala Rajender has criticized the Congress party and other opposition parties for making irresponsible remarks regarding the delimitation of Lok Sabha constituencies. Addressing the media in Hyderabad, Rajender stated that the central government has not made any official announcement or finalized procedures concerning delimitation. He accused the opposition of creating unnecessary confusion by organizing all-party meetings on this issue.
Rajender clarified that the rumors about a possible reduction in the number of MP seats in Telangana due to delimitation are baseless. He suggested that there might be an increase in seats, but a decrease is not under consideration. He advised opposition parties not to spread such unfounded fears. The criteria for the reorganization of constituencies have yet to be determined, and the public is unlikely to believe the commotion being stirred by the opposition. Rajender likened their behavior to “counting chickens before they hatch.”
He emphasized that the BJP is a party that thinks about the nation’s welfare and that the central government is working towards further developing progressive states.
