Hyderabad, January 28: On Tuesday, Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender visited the Security Printing Press and participated as the chief guest in the 2025 cadre meeting of the Security Printing Press Mazdoor Sangh. During his visit, he toured the facility and inquired about the workers’ issues. Addressing the gathering, Rajender emphasized his longstanding support for unions and protests throughout his 25-year political career. He appealed to the workers to ensure the victory of the Mazdoor Sangh in the forthcoming elections.
Reflecting on his tenure as Finance Minister, Rajender recalled providing financial assistance to revive the press when it faced closure, preventing workers from losing their jobs. He also highlighted the reopening of the Ramagundam Fertilizer Company, which had been closed for 25 years, attributing its revival to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s allocation of Rs 6,300 crore.
Rajender acknowledged the challenges faced by workers and employees, expressing his commitment to being accessible and supportive. He emphasized the importance of union leaders working not only for their families but also for the growth of the company, the welfare of workers, and the protection of their rights and freedoms. He assured the workers of his unwavering support.
During the visit, the press manager, S.R. Vajpayee, welcomed Rajender and honored him with a shawl.
Rajender also noted that the central government has allocated Rs 4 lakh crore in the budget to provide employment opportunities for educated youth and is issuing job recruitment notifications every six months to address unemployment.
