Hyderabad: A massive Mumbai fire broke out in a 24-storey residential tower in Dahisar East’s Shanti Nagar locality on Sunday afternoon. The blaze claimed the life of one woman and left 18 others injured. Among the injured, a four-year-old child remains in critical condition.
According to the fire brigade, the blaze started around 3:00 pm on the seventh floor before spreading rapidly through the building. Initial investigations suggest that faulty wiring in the basement sparked the fire, which travelled upward through the electrical duct. Authorities declared it a Level-2 fire.
