Outflow matches inflow as Krishna flood fills Nagarjuna Sagar
Officials said they are releasing water in a controlled manner as the dam nears capacity. They remain on alert to balance safety with continued upstream inflows.
The Nagarjuna Sagar dam plays a key role in flood moderation for the Krishna basin. Its current levels highlight the impact of this year’s heavy monsoon.
