Hyderabad: Telangana’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested Nalgonda district fisheries officer M. Charitha Reddy for taking a ₹20,000 bribe inside the District Collectorate. She allegedly demanded the amount to approve new members in a fisheries cooperative society.
Officials said she took the bribe to clear a basic procedure that should have required no payment. ACB teams caught her in the act after the complainant alerted them.
