Hyderabad: A major mishap was averted on Friday at Mothe in Suryapet district when a private bus burst into flames following a tyre explosion.
The incident occurred in the early hours when the vehicle was passing through the area. According to eyewitnesses, one of the bus tyres suddenly burst, sparking a fire that quickly spread through the vehicle.
The driver, noticing the smoke, reacted swiftly by bringing the bus to a halt and evacuating the vehicle. As the flames intensified, the bus was completely gutted, leaving only a charred frame behind.
Officials confirmed that the bus was empty at the time of the incident, and no casualties were reported. The quick thinking of the driver prevented a potential tragedy.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the tyre burst.
