HYDERABAD: The National Conference of State Public Service Commission (PSC) Chairpersons held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The event, organized by the Kerala Public Service Commission, took place on March 22 and 23, focusing on the integration of advanced technology into recruitment processes. Key topics discussed included computer-based tests (CBT), biometric authentication, office automation, and digital evaluation methods. These discussions aimed to enhance the efficiency and transparency of public service recruitments across the country.
Representatives from 19 states participated in the workshop, sharing insights and best practices. The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) Chairman, Burra Venkatesham, attended the conference along with commission members Professor N. Yadayya and P. Rajini Kumari. Venkatesham announced plans to host two national-level workshops under the aegis of TGPSC: a Legal Challenges Workshop in June and a National Conference in December. The Legal Challenges Workshop, to be conducted under the supervision of NALSAR University, will address various legal issues faced by PSCs. The National Conference aims to facilitate discussions among PSCs nationwide, providing guidance on legal matters and fostering collaboration.
