Hyderabad: A newborn was found abandoned by the roadside near the Musi River in Ramantapur, triggering outrage over the inhuman act. The infant boy, believed to be only minutes old, was discovered crying unattended at Vivek Nagar under Uppal police limits.
Locals who spotted the child alerted emergency services. A 108 ambulance reached the spot and provided first aid before shifting the baby to Niloufer Hospital with assistance from Uppal police.
According to medical staff, the child is in stable condition. Police have launched an investigation to identify the person responsible for abandoning the infant.
