Hyderabad: A newly married woman was killed in a collision with a lorry on the Rajiv Rahadari near Thimmapur, Karimnagar district, just three days after her wedding. The victim, identified as Muddasani Akhila, 22, had travelled with her husband Raju to appear for the PG SET entrance examination at a college on the outskirts of Thimmapur.
Police said the couple was returning home on a motorcycle after the test when a lorry rammed them from behind. Akhila sustained severe injuries and died on the spot, while her husband suffered injuries. Her body was shifted to Karimnagar Government Hospital for post-mortem.
