Hyderabad: One person died and five others sustained injuries in a serious road accident on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Adibatla in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to police, the crash occurred around 2 AM between Raviryal Exit-13 and Bongloor Exit-12. A lorry rammed into a stationary car parked on the ORR, resulting in the fatality and multiple injuries.
The ORR response team and police reached the scene shortly after the incident. They shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. The identity of the deceased has not been officially confirmed.
Police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of the crash. Preliminary reports suggest the parked vehicle may not have been clearly marked or signaled, increasing the risk of collision on the high-speed corridor.
