Hyderabad: Osmania University has announced that applications are now open for various diploma courses in foreign languages under its jurisdiction. Officials released a notification to this effect, stating that the university will offer junior and senior diploma courses in French and German, each lasting four months, along with a one-year advanced diploma course.
The classes are scheduled to commence on 7 July, according to university authorities. Candidates who have completed Intermediate education are eligible to apply for the junior diploma. For the senior diploma, applicants must either have secured at least 50 percent marks or have studied the relevant language as a second language under a UGC-recognised programme. Admission to the advanced diploma requires passing the senior diploma with a minimum of 50 percent marks.
