HYDERABAD: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president and Hyderabad MP Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. On Friday, ahead of the Friday prayers at a mosque in Shastripuram, Owaisi wore a black armband as a mark of silent protest.
Black armbands were also distributed among worshippers in the mosque, encouraging collective expression of grief and condemnation against what Owaisi described as a cowardly act of violence.
Through this symbolic gesture, Owaisi conveyed that terrorism in any form is unacceptable and must not be associated with any religion or community. He emphasised that his protest was not only a response to the attack, but also a message that Indian Muslims stand firmly against terrorism and uphold the values of peace, unity, and humanity.
