Hyderabad: Padma Shri awardee and MRPS founder Manda Krishna Madiga stopped by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s residence on Sunday morning.
Revanth Reddy greeted him with a warm handshake and a quick embrace, congratulating him on the Padma Shri from President Droupadi Murmu. As a mark of respect, he draped a shawl over Madiga’s shoulders and handed him a small memento—just a simple gesture acknowledging years of tireless advocacy.
The Chief Minister praised Krishna Madiga’s decades-long fight for social justice, especially his push for Scheduled Caste classification. He called Krishna Madiga’s dedication an inspiration for future generations, while pointing to the MRPS movement’s role that spanned several decades.
