HYDERABAD: Two individuals from Andhra Pradesh are among the victims who lost their lives in a terrorist attack at the popular tourist destination of Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir. The victims have been identified as Chandra Mouli, a retired bank employee from Visakhapatnam, and Madhusudhan Rao, a software engineer originally from Kavali in Nellore district.
According to reports, Chandra Mouli attempted to flee upon sensing the attack but was chased down and killed by the assailants. Madhusudhan Rao, who was employed in Bengaluru, was present at the location during the attack. Disturbingly, it was reported that he sustained as many as 42 bullet wounds, resulting in his death.
The incident has sent shockwaves across Andhra Pradesh, with a widespread sense of mourning and grief over the tragic loss of the two men.
