Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan said he never pursued film roles for the sake of records, but to connect with audiences through meaningful characters.
Speaking at the pre-release event for his upcoming film “Hari Hara Veera Mallu,” held at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad, Kalyan said, “I never acted for records. My focus has always been on roles that allow me to connect with the people.”
The historical action drama is set for nationwide release on July 24. The film has drawn significant anticipation from fans, marking Kalyan’s return to the big screen amid his heightened political profile.
The pre-release function was held with much fanfare, attended by fans and film industry figures.
