Hyderabad: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Friday inaugurated development works worth over ₹5 crore in the Jubilee Hills constituency, launching a series of civic upgrades under the GHMC limits.
Accompanied by Ministers Vivek Venkatswamy and Tummala Nageswara Rao, he laid the foundation stone for new cement roads in Vengalrao Nagar, part of the Yousufguda Circle.
Prabhakar said all pending civic issues were being systematically resolved under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership. He criticised the previous government for selectively developing only those constituencies represented by its own MLAs.
He noted that several colonies and slums in Hyderabad remained underdeveloped even years after state formation. The minister said new planning efforts were underway to uplift neglected areas across city constituencies.
Calling for public cooperation, Prabhakar urged citizens to report local issues directly to officials, elected representatives, or ministers. He also mocked political figures who only appear during bypolls, accusing them of token engagement.
