HYDERABAD: A protest was held in front of the Bhadrachalam Government Hospital mortuary following the death of mason Upender in a building collapse. His family members, workers’ unions, and CPM leaders staged a sit-in, demanding justice.
The protesters insisted that the government provide compensation and support to Upender’s family before proceeding with the post-mortem. They stated that they would not allow the autopsy until the administration assures justice for the bereaved family.
The incident has sparked outrage among workers and local organizations, who are calling for strict action against those responsible for the accident. The authorities are yet to respond to the demands.
