BC leader R. Krishnaiah criticized Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s comments on PM Modi’s caste, calling them misleading and politically motivated.

HYDERABAD: Prominent BC leader R. Krishnaiah has strongly condemned Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s remarks regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s caste. He asserted that Modi is a true BC leader who has been dedicatedly working for the country’s development.

Krishnaiah emphasized that issues related to reservations in local body elections are under the jurisdiction of state governments. He accused the Congress of misleading the public by making baseless allegations against the central government on this matter.

Allegations Against Congress on Caste Census

Further criticizing the Congress, Krishnaiah alleged that the party had manipulated figures in its caste census. He claimed that the data was being used for political advantage rather than for genuine social justice.

His comments come amid an ongoing political debate over BC reservations, during which CM Revanth Reddy made remarks regarding the Prime Minister’s caste. The issue has sparked strong reactions from various political leaders.
