Student repeatedly harassed, latest attack caught on video
On the day of the assault, Rahul reported for his posting, while another student, Sai Ram Pavan, remained absent. During that time, senior-year students confronted Rahul and beat him, citing ragging as a pretext.
According to student sources, this was not an isolated attack. Rahul had been harassed multiple times since joining the course, but the latest incident escalated into severe physical violence.
The video sparked anger among students and the public. Many demanded strict disciplinary action against the accused and stronger enforcement of anti-ragging measures in medical colleges.
