Hyderabad: Two young men lost their lives in a fatal Raidurgam accident late Saturday night after a speeding car hit their scooter from behind near Gachibowli.
According to police, Nazir Fahad and Abdul Ahaduddin Khan, both residents of Tolichowki, were riding towards Gachibowli when the incident occurred. The car struck them from the rear with significant force, causing them to fall off their vehicle.
Nazir Fahad died on the spot due to the impact. Meanwhile, Abdul Ahad, who sustained severe injuries, succumbed during treatment at the hospital.
Software engineer arrested after fatal Raidurgam accident
Police identified the car driver as Karthik, a software employee. Officers detained him shortly after the incident.
A case has been registered at Raidurgam Police Station, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the crash. Police are also examining CCTV footage from nearby areas for additional evidence.
