Hyderabad: Telangana is in for a wet spell, with rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds expected over the next five days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday.
According to the IMD’s daily weather bulletin, light to moderate rain or a passing drizzle is likely to hit isolated parts of the state through the week. Wind speeds could pick up, reaching 30 to 40 kmph during thunderstorms.
The southwest monsoon has weakened slightly in the region, the department noted. In the past 24 hours, scattered rainfall was reported in a few pockets across Telangana.
Residents are advised to stay alert, as sudden showers and blustery conditions may continue intermittently.
