Hyderabad: Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh launched a sharp attack on Union Minister and Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy over the upcoming Jubilee Hills bypoll. He questioned whether Kishan Reddy wanted to help the BRS or Congress win the seat. He also asked how many votes the BJP would lose in the election.
Raja Singh targets Kishan Reddy over Jubilee Hills bypoll
Raja Singh said people in Telangana and Jubilee Hills wanted clear answers from Kishan Reddy. He alleged that a secret understanding between Kishan Reddy and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi might be the reason why AIMIM stayed away from the contest.
He further asked whether Kishan Reddy had thought about how he would face central leaders if the BJP suffered a major defeat. The Jubilee Hills seat falls under the Secunderabad Parliamentary constituency. Therefore, a poor performance could hurt the party’s image in Delhi.
‘You too will face the same fate,’ says Raja Singh
Raja Singh accused Kishan Reddy of interfering in party matters across several divisions and constituencies. Moreover, he claimed that such interference had damaged the BJP’s strength in many areas. “You too will be thrown out one day,” he said, adding that Kishan Reddy had done the same in Goshamahal and caused his removal from the party.
Meanwhile, the BJP has not yet announced its candidate for the Jubilee Hills bypoll. Consequently, speculation continues over who will represent the party. Raja Singh’s strong remarks have, however, turned into a hot political topic in Telangana.
