Hyderabad: Munugodu MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy on Sunday vowed to fight until the Regional Ring Road (Triple R) project-affected families in his constituency receive justice. He visited land oustees at Samsthan Narayanapuram mandal headquarters in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district and pledged his full support.
Speaking to the gathering, Rajagopal Reddy said he would not remain silent in the face of injustice. “Even if the project is scrapped, I will not let the affected families suffer,” he declared. He added that resolving the issue might require paralyzing the government through public pressure.
Calling people his strength, the MLA said he was ready for any form of struggle and willing to make any sacrifice. He urged the public to prepare for a sustained fight. Despite being a member of the ruling party, he said he would not hesitate to oppose the government if it failed to protect the people’s interests.
“Land is emotionally tied to farmers it’s not just a resource, it defines their identity,” he said. Rajagopal Reddy pointed out that Munugodu would lose more land than any other segment under the project. He promised to raise the issue with the state government and, if needed, meet Union ministers in Delhi.
Land oustees from Samsthan Narayanapuram and leaders from various political parties also participated in the meeting.
