Hyderabad: A youth was found brutally murdered on a service road near the agricultural university in Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. His body, discovered in a pool of blood, bore deep knife wounds to the neck, indicating a gruesome throat-slitting.
Morning walkers alerted police after stumbling upon the body near the Bengaluru national highway stretch. Responding swiftly, police teams reached the scene and recovered the body.
Rajendranagar youth murder adds to spate of violent crimes
Initial findings suggest the murder occurred elsewhere and the body was dumped at the location. Forensic teams collected clues, and a case has been registered. Investigators are now reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area.
The incident has intensified fears among local residents, following a string of violent crimes in Rajendranagar. Just last week, a woman was raped and murdered under the Kismatpur bridge. In another case, a supari gang attempted to kill a man in Mailardevpally yesterday.
