Hyderabad: A two-week Refresher Course in Commerce and Management ended at the UGC–Malaviya Mission Teachers Training Centre (MMTTC) of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). The programme brought together 40 faculty members from across India.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) sponsored the course to help teachers stay updated on new trends in commerce and management.
Course aimed at enhancing teaching and management insights
Director Professor Saneem Fatima said the course equipped teachers with modern teaching tools. It also helped them improve management skills and subject knowledge. She added that such training boosts confidence and professional growth.
Experts from premier institutions participated
A total of 32 experts from leading institutions participated in the course. They represented the University of Hyderabad, Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi), North Eastern Hill University (Shillong), NIT Calicut, and Symbiosis International University (Hyderabad).
Experts from GITAM University, MG University, JNTU Hyderabad, and the Administrative Staff College of India also contributed sessions.
Industry professionals from Bajaj Broking Limited, WE Hub Foundation, and the International Institute of Quality Accreditation led discussions on industry-based learning.
