Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday directed Telangana district collectors to ensure seamless inter-departmental coordination during crisis situations and to implement review meeting decisions without delay.
Speaking after a high-level review, the Chief Minister commended officials for responding swiftly during the recent floods. He said their timely actions had helped reduce potential damage across affected regions.
Revanth Reddy stressed that effective crisis management required coordination among various departments. “We have established separate departments for ease of governance, but during emergencies, they must function as one,” he said.
He instructed district collectors to hold coordination meetings with all departments to ensure preparedness and unified response. “When challenges arise, we must act with humanity, beyond political boundaries,” he added.

The Chief Minister emphasized that all resolutions taken during the review must be executed with precision. He also announced that he would hold another review in the next 15 days to assess progress.
For the former Nizamabad district, Minister Seethakka will conduct a special review. Revanth Reddy asked local elected representatives to bring constituency-specific issues to Seethakka’s attention during the upcoming review.
He further directed the administration to pursue relief funding from the central government as per the prescribed guidelines. Long-term planning, he said, must be initiated to prevent such emergencies in the future.
