HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is embarking on an eight-day tour of Japan with the aim of attracting significant investments to the state. The tour is set to begin today after the conclusion of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting.
Accompanying the Chief Minister are IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu and a delegation of senior officials. The focus of the visit is to showcase Telangana as a premier destination for industrial growth and technological collaboration.
As part of the tour, CM Revanth Reddy will participate in the Industrial Expo in Osaka, where he is expected to present Telangana’s industrial potential to global investors. Following this, he will travel to Tokyo, where meetings with several leading industrialists and companies have been scheduled to discuss investment partnerships and collaborative ventures.
The delegation will also study advanced Japanese technologies, particularly those driven by artificial intelligence and innovation, as part of the state’s broader development agenda. Special emphasis will be placed on exploring technology that can support the proposed Skill University in Telangana.
CM Revanth Reddy is expected to invite Japanese business leaders and organisations to partner in Telangana’s growth, particularly in areas such as manufacturing, infrastructure, AI, and education. The tour underscores the state government’s focus on global engagement to boost employment and technological advancement.
