Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy visited Karnataka on Monday and met All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Mallikarjun Kharge in Bengaluru. The Chief Minister called on Kharge a few days after the Congress chief returned home from MS Ramaiah Hospital, where he underwent pacemaker implantation and recovered under doctors’ supervision.

During the meeting, Revanth Reddy discussed major political developments in Telangana with Kharge. He held talks on the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election, the 42 per cent reservations for Backward Classes in local body polls, and legal issues pending in the Supreme Court. Party sources described the meeting as both a courtesy call and a strategic political discussion.
The Chief Minister later shared an update on X. He wrote, “I met AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, who recently underwent a pacemaker implantation and is recuperating in Bengaluru. I wished him a speedy recovery and an early return to active public life.”
