Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday described the death of CPI veteran Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy as an irreparable loss to people with low income, the Bahujan community, and all those who believed in ideological politics.
The Chief Minister offered floral tributes at the CPI state office, Makhdoom Bhavan, where Sudhakar Reddy’s body lay for public homage.

After paying respects, Revanth Reddy said Sudhakar Reddy lived with uncompromising dedication from student politics to national leadership. He noted that the former CPI general secretary rose from SFI ranks to Parliament without arrogance or ego.
Calling him “a son of Palamuru who became a national leader,” the Chief Minister said Sudhakar Reddy upheld his principles in power and outside it.
Ministers Seethakka and Jupally Krishna Rao also paid homage. BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao and several Left leaders joined them in remembering the veteran.
