HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has lauded the exemplary medical services provided by the doctors of Osmania General Hospital. He praised the team for their efforts in saving the life of a young patient who had been denied admission by a private hospital.
In a message shared on social media, the Chief Minister said that the doctors at government hospitals had proven that with passion and determination, even the impossible can be achieved. He offered special congratulations to Dr Ranga Ajmera, Dr Vikram, and their team, calling their service an inspiration for staff across all government hospitals in the state.
The patient, 22-year-old Hemant from Visakhapatnam, developed severe abdominal pain and breathing difficulties while travelling to Shirdi. Initially taken to a private hospital, he was refused admission due to the critical nature of his condition. He was then immediately shifted to Osmania General Hospital, where doctors quickly diagnosed a perforation in his intestine.
The team at Osmania Hospital performed emergency surgery and successfully saved his life. After ten days of treatment, Hemant made a full recovery and was discharged from the hospital.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that this achievement is a matter of pride not just for Telangana but for the entire country. He further noted that such dedication in government hospitals would play a vital role in strengthening public trust in the healthcare system.
