CM Revanth Reddy on SC Sub-Categorization Bill

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy received widespread appreciation from SC community leaders following the Telangana Assembly’s approval of the SC Sub-Categorization Bill. In a special meeting held at the Assembly Committee Hall, representatives of various SC organizations personally met the Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude for this landmark decision.

During the meeting, CM Revanth Reddy, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, ministers, and MLAs observed a two-minute silence as a tribute to those who lost their lives while fighting for SC sub-categorization. This solemn moment reflected the government’s acknowledgment of the long-standing struggle for justice among marginalized SC groups.

The approval of the SC Sub-Categorization Bill is considered a major victory for the Madiga community and other SC sub-groups, who have been advocating for fair distribution of reservations and benefits. The bill aims to address historical injustices and ensure equitable opportunities for all SC sub-castes.

A large number of Madiga community leaders and activists gathered in huge numbers to thank CM Revanth Reddy for fulfilling their long-pending demand. The event saw an overwhelming response from various SC welfare associations, further cementing the Congress government’s commitment to social justice.

This legislative move is expected to create a significant political and social impact in Telangana, as it highlights the Congress government’s proactive approach towards addressing the concerns of marginalized communities.
