HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy received widespread appreciation from SC community leaders following the Telangana Assembly’s approval of the SC Sub-Categorization Bill. In a special meeting held at the Assembly Committee Hall, representatives of various SC organizations personally met the Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude for this landmark decision.
During the meeting, CM Revanth Reddy, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, ministers, and MLAs observed a two-minute silence as a tribute to those who lost their lives while fighting for SC sub-categorization. This solemn moment reflected the government’s acknowledgment of the long-standing struggle for justice among marginalized SC groups.
The approval of the SC Sub-Categorization Bill is considered a major victory for the Madiga community and other SC sub-groups, who have been advocating for fair distribution of reservations and benefits.
