Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is scheduled to travel to Delhi today for a two-day political visit. The trip includes back-to-back meetings with senior Congress figures and central government officials.

Reddy is expected to confer with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and party president Mallikarjun Kharge during the visit. He is also slated to hold discussions with multiple Union ministers later in the day.

Sources indicated that a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also on the cards. The primary agenda is believed to be the proposed legislation seeking 42% reservation for Backward Classes in Parliament. Reddy is expected to press for the introduction and passage of the bill during the current session.

In connection with this push, the Chief Minister is also likely to call on President Droupadi Murmu. Accompanying Reddy on the trip are several Telangana cabinet ministers and senior bureaucrats.
