Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy extended greetings to citizens on Vinayaka Chaturthi and urged them to celebrate with devotion while taking pride in the state’s cultural traditions.
In his message, he prayed to Lord Vigneshwara to bless people with happiness, health, and prosperity. He asked devotees to perform puja with enthusiasm at Ganesh pandals across towns and villages.
Revanth Reddy instructed police officials to manage traffic smoothly in Hyderabad and the district headquarters during the festivities. He also told them to take strict safety measures at pandals expected to draw large crowds.

Continuing a state initiative, he confirmed that the government would provide free electricity to Ganesh pandals this year as well. He said the “People’s Government” remained committed to supporting community celebrations while ensuring order and safety.
Officials added that municipal staff would handle sanitation and public safety near major pandals. Police forces will also be deployed in sensitive zones to regulate crowd movement.
The Chief Minister said the government stood with devotees to ensure the successful conduct of the festival, which is observed with grandeur across Telangana.
