Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will visit Kamareddy district on Thursday to inspect flood-affected areas and interact with residents impacted by recent heavy rains.
CM to land at Mothe village, inspect Lingampet bridge
The Chief Minister will depart from Begumpet Airport by helicopter at 11:00 a.m. and land in Mothe village of Lingampet mandal by 11:30 a.m. At 11:45 a.m., he will inspect the R&B bridge at Lingampalli Khurd, which was recently damaged due to flash floods.
Later, at 12:15 p.m., he will visit Budigadda in Lingampet mandal to assess crop damage caused by heavy rains in the area.
Visit to GR Colony and review with officials
At 1:10 p.m., Revanth Reddy will reach GR Colony in Kamareddy town, where he will meet residents affected by urban flooding. The colony had submerged during recent rains, causing widespread damage.
Following his field visits, the Chief Minister will hold a district-level review meeting with senior officials at the Collectorate at 2:20 p.m. to assess relief measures and further action.
District authorities are making arrangements for the visit, with all concerned departments directed to be present and prepared.
