Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid rich tributes to Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud Maharaj on his birth anniversary, describing him as a warrior who fought for the self-respect of marginalised communities and social and political equality.
Remembering Papanna Goud, the Chief Minister hailed him as a symbol of Telangana’s valour and as the first Bahujan ruler who governed Golconda with equality as his guiding principle. Reddy said Papanna stood as a flag-bearer of dignity for the poor and oppressed sections.
