Hyderabad: A road accident near Jadcherla left former ZPTC member Shashirekha’s husband, Balu, seriously injured. Police said the car carrying the victim was hit by a truck.
According to witnesses, the accident occurred on the Jadcherla-Midjil stretch near Wadiyala gate. A lorry moving from the opposite direction collided with the car.

Balu sustained severe injuries in the impact. Sub-Inspector Shiva Nageshwar responded immediately to the scene. He arranged for the injured man to be shifted to a government hospital.
Police said they were investigating the accident. The vehicle movement in the area was briefly disrupted before traffic was restored.
